After his performance, Froger took a seat on one of the crutches to talk to table guests Jack van Gelder and Job Knoester. After some dies and that about football, the subject came to the growing popularity of Dutch -language music.
Froger welcomes that there is so much new talent on it, but also provides problems: “The trend of today is that so much comes out. There is a lot of talent, but there is also a lot of mess in between.”
The topper refused to reveal who fell into that category as far as he was concerned, he broke a lance for Yves Berendse who experienced his big breakthrough last year: “But he has been working on his career for ten years.”

“The only drawback of the artists who are currently coming up is that they are very easy in it. Let me say it: they will be famous, they have one song … they will perform and ask 10,000 euros.”
“But that’s smart, what the madman gives it,” Hendriks cast. Froger did not agree: “No, I always think: you have to have a long career in your head.”
