Former Gerry Weber creative director Rena Marx has been appointed Chief Procurement Officer of the fashion brand Adenauer & Co.

According to her profile on the LinkedIn career network, Marx has been working for the Mallorca-based label for a year. Since January of this year, she has officially taken on the role of purchasing manager, as she announced on Tuesday.

Before moving to the Balearic Islands, Marx worked for the Bielefeld clothing group Katag AG. There she was responsible for the label The Fashion People as Head of Brand for two and a half years. However, this was not her first job in Bielefeld: from 2007 to 2014 she was Head of Brand for the brands Basefield Woman and In Linea. Before that, she ran her own fashion label, which she sold to the retailer Appelrath Cüpper in 2004.

Between her first and second jobs at Katag, Marx worked for the clothing company Gerry Weber International AG. At the beginning of 2015, she joined the company as Product Director for Gerry Weber Casual and in 2018 took on the then newly created position of Creative Vice President at Gerry Weber.
