Rémon Kwant from Koekange selected for European Championship inline skating. “He knows it has to be better,” says critical national coach Valentina Berga-Belloni from Hoogeveen

Inline skater Rémon Kwant from Koekange has been included in the Dutch team that will participate in the European Championships in France from 16 to 24 July.

The Orange will travel to the tournament in Valence d’Agen with 21 drivers led by national coach Valentina Berga-Belloni from Hoogeveen. The selection was announced by the KNSB on Monday. Kwant, who lives and trains in Italy, recently became Dutch champion in the 500 meters and second in the one-lap during the Dutch National Championships in Heerde. In the 1000 meters he fell next to the podium.

According to Berga-Belloni, Kwant must and can perform better. “He took gold in the 500 meters on the last day of the NK, but I expected more from him,” says the national coach. ,,He saved his tournament, but also knows that it has to be better. Rémon should not be satisfied with what he has achieved so far.”

The total selection with:
