The meeting on the Dam started at 2 p.m. Participants wear Ukrainian flags and plates with texts such as “would you make peace with Hitler? Why with Putin?”, “Russia is a terrorist state” and “I bought flowers for my wife, now I place them on digging from my friends” . Someone also brought a sign that US President Donald Trump and Russian President Putin kissing.
Tomorrow also organized commemorative meetings in different parts of the country.
Peace negotiations
In the meantime, Prime Minister Dick Schoof yesterday announced the Ukrainian President Zelensky that the country can continue to count on Dutch support in this war. He also said that both Europeans and the Ukrainians should sit at the table in the peace negotiations that the US initiates with Russia.
