Rembrandt painting worth 90 million euros returns to church in small French village after a long wandering

A French village that owns a very precious Rembrandt from the year 1631 has its treasure back. The painting, Christ on the Cross, by the world-famous Dutch painter Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669) has been restored to a new secured and ventilated enclosure in the church of the village of Le Mas-D’Agenais, some 75 kilometers from Bordeaux.
