The National Team faced Armenia in Eskişehir in the 5th match of Group D of the 2024 Qualifiers.

We thank the people of Eskişehir. They supported us very well. Let me say this without making excuses: the field was bad, it was a difficult match on the ground. The floor was not what we wanted. I am angry. A draw did not suit us. We had to finish the match in the first half, we had chances but we couldn’t take them. Yet we are the leader. It would have been better if we had won the match. We need to be better. We made very simple mistakes. I don’t know. I come from Italy, I’m fit, I’m motivated, I’m trying to do my best and help the team. I’m getting depressed. I also need to forget. We must look ahead. I congratulate Bertuğ, he came into the game and scored the goal. He was not in the squad today, but I congratulate Kazımcan. They will help us in the future.
