Telstar has three players with a Surinamese background in the selection: Rojendro Oudsten, Devon Koswal and Dion Malone. According to technical manager Peter Hofstede, Oudsten and Koswal do not pose a problem in terms of eligibility to play. “We have to look carefully at Malone to see whether he falls under Dutch nationality. We are now looking into that. We have a match on Saturday, so we first want to be 100 percent certain.”
For players Tyrese Noslin and Tyrick Bodak, there is no problem with their passports anyway, since Curaçao belongs to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
