Tottenham is in a difficult situation at the bottom of the Premier League.

Will Tottenham’s woes continue on Thursday? PDO

The most interesting game of the day

Thursday’s most interesting match can be found in the Premier League.

Tottenham, who have played ten games in a row without a win in the Premier League, have drifted into an acute danger of relegation. The team is only one point behind in their league position. In addition to its own weak measures, the crisis of the Lily-Whites has been accelerated by the upbeat measures of West Ham, who previously looked almost certain to be relegated.

West Ham, who have only lost once in their last five games, have already moved within a point of Tottenham. Nottingham is also only one point behind fifth-last Tottenham in the table.

For Tottenham, relegation would be a huge disaster. The team started the season with a new head coach, the former Brentford manager by Thomas Frank under the greatest hope. The minimum goal was a place in next season’s Champions League.

At no point did the team adopt Frank’s game philosophy, or at least not be able to implement it, and the Dane got the boot in the middle of February.

Now the Croat is on the hook with the temporary title Igor Tudor. Tudor’s first two games at Tottenham have really only taken the team’s performances down; the result is 1–4 and 1–2 losses to Arsenal and Fulham. In both matches, Tottenham was almost completely at the bottom of the game.

Tottenham, who last played in the second tier in the 1977-1978 season, have been plagued by injuries throughout the season, and even in tonight’s local game against Crystal Palace, the team’s strength lacks the men planned to be key players James Maddison, Destiny Udogie, Lucas Bergvall, Ben Davies, Mohammed Kudus, Rodrigo Bentancur, Dejan Kulusevski, Wilson Odobert and Djed Spence. In addition, a key defender is suspended Cristian Romero.

Crystal Palace have a much shorter injury list. Only Jean-Philippe Matetan and by Maxence Lacroix absences should currently be counted as minuses.

Tottenham’s Achilles heel has also been a miraculous home weakness. Together with Burnley, the team has been the weakest home team this season. Tottenham has won only two of their fourteen home games (!). The entire home balance is recorded as 2-4-8, goals 17–22.

Opponent Crystal Palace has also been in pain since the key defender left the team Guehi Marc To Manchester City in the middle of January. Since then, the team has won only two series games out of seven.

Also the head coach by Oliver Glasner transfer rumors eat away at the team’s spirit and motivation. Palace has already sunk far from the fight for next season’s European place, and even the threat of relegation hasn’t made the team sharpen up yet. Although Palace are seven points away from the relegation zone, even that may not be dry if the performances continue to be as lackluster as they have been recently.

This is where Tottenham’s chance for tonight lies. If Crystal Palace can’t put on a good fight in this game as well, then Tottenham have little chance of winning.

In terms of betting, I am more in favor of Tottenham than Palace in this match and I consider the 1.67 odds offered for Tottenham+0 as the best bet.

Tottenham–Crystal Palace starts at 22:00.

The best betting tip of the day

As Thursday’s best bet, I increase the Ässie’s actual game time win over KalPa with a coefficient of 1.95 (my estimate for this is exactly 50%).

KalPa continues to suffer from massive injury concerns. Already able to return against Sport yesterday Jaakko Rissanen is off again today. Thus, six of KalPa’s eleven best scorers are still sick.

The injuries of KalPa’s stars do not affect as much as some other team, because of its uniform and mobile way of playing. Now, however, it is precisely for this reason that a deduction must be made for the playing power of the Kuopio people from playing on consecutive days. The players in the lower chains who have/are given a lot of responsibility may not be able to withstand the style of play as well as the first-ranked players.

Aces are missing Jonne Tammela and Oskar Nilsson mixed Lasse Boeliusbut even so, it is now necessary to calculate the advantage for the people of Pori from the lineups. Ässät–KalPa starts at 18:30.

The best case in the Swiss league is under 5.5 goals in the match Langnau–Fribourg with a coefficient of 1.90. This starts at 20:45.
