Pier Antonio Panzeri, the former MEP who has been charged in the large-scale investigation into corruption in the European Parliament and who has since acted as a repentant in court, has asked the investigating judge to face Belgian MEP Marc Tarabella. Panzeri’s lawyers report this. Tarabella’s defense has in recent months questioned the veracity of Panzeri’s statements of remorse.
