Erwin de Vries (1971) from Meeden receives the prize for his thirty-year career as a regional singer and lyricist for himself and others. As the winner of the K. ter Laan Prize (1000 euros and a statuette by artist Natasja Bennink from Ezinge), De Vries joins an illustrious list with Wia Buze, Aafke Steenhuis, Marcel Hensema, Bert Hadders and Martin Hillenga, among others.
