According to Ismaik’s sales officer

After the surprising sales offer of Löwen investor Hasan Ismaik, President Robert Reisinger has formulated a wish for the future of TSV 1860 Munich. “The capital reimbursement must no longer be carried out exclusively in the form of loans. This type of financing can take the necessary flexibility. It would therefore be desirable if several investors were found with regional roots who, as sponsors and shareholders, would shape the future of TSV 1860 Munich,” said Reisinger in the “Bild”.
“I am convinced that a sustainable investment in TSV 1860 Munich can be profitable for both the association as well as for the professional soccer company and the donors,” explained Reisinger. He was no longer proposed for election by the Board of Directors.
The controversial investor Ismaik had made his considerations public at the “ARD/Blickpunkt Sport”. “I think someone needs new things in 1860 – they don’t need Hasan. If I stay, this club will stay the way it is,” said Ismaik. However, participation in the third division team would have their price: “Anyone who thinks they have the ability to buy in 1860 – my door is open. But if he does not have 200 to 300 million, it won’t work for him.” He doesn’t have a prize in his head, said Ismaik.
TSV 1860 Munich: Rumor about Lehmann’s interest
Ismaik has been an investor and shareholder of the traditional club for 14 years, in which there were always power struggles between the club and the investor side around the businessman from Jordan. Ismaik had saved the lions from bankruptcy in 2011 and since then tried with high investments to bring him back into the road to success. However, conflicts have always occurred between the investor and the association. The “picture” speculated that the former national goalkeeper Jens Lehmann is said to have expressed interest with an investor group from England, but the talks had stalled.
“Football has become too expensive and too complex to be able to lead clubs just like twenty or thirty years ago. Today, donors are indispensable partners in professional sports,” said Reisinger. “Also at TSV 1860 Munich, which with its Bavarian culture, history and tradition, with its fan base and its many members still has great attraction.”
