Telstar could hope for a point against FC Eindhoven for a long time. That ultimately did not come after a red card for substitute Randy Wolters. The penalty that followed was used by Joey Sleegers: 0-1.

Sleegers took the penalty and gave Eindhoven the lead. In the final phase, Telstar could no longer brush away the final score. Due to the defeat, Andries Jonker’s team remains in number sixteenth place in the ranking.
