Recovered hurdle player Nadine Visser rushes to sixth place at FBK Games

For the first time since the beginning of March, Nadine Visser has run a race again. The 27-year-old hurdler from Hoorn competed at the FBK Games. In Hengelo, Visser ran in the 100 meter hurdles to a time of 12 seconds and 95 hundredths.

With her time, Visser finished fifth and was four tenths above her personal best of 12.51 seconds. During the Dutch National Championships, Visser suffered a hamstring injury, as a result of which she missed the World Indoor Championships. Last week, the hurdler would make her comeback in Oordegem, but dropped that competition.

At the FBK Games, Visser was ahead of the other Dutchmen Maayke Tjin A-Lim (13.17 seconds) and Zoë Sedney (13.40).

Smet and Van der Schaaf

Koen Smet and Liam van der Schaaf also came into action for the men. Both Phanos athletes ran their fastest times of this outdoor season and were second to none. Smet and Van der Schaaf finished in 13.66 seconds in the 110 meter hurdles. That time was good for a tie for sixth place. †

NH Sport made the report below about Smet and Van der Schaaf at the NK Indoor.
