Recover appoints Hennes & Mauritz manager Anders Sjöblom as CEO

The Spanish textile manufacturer Recover Textile Systems SL is facing a change in management. On Thursday, the recycling specialist announced the appointment of Anders Sjöblom as CEO.

Sjöblom will therefore succeed Alfredo Ferre on January 1, 2024, who will move to the newly created position of Chief Product and Innovation Officer. This role will allow Ferre to concentrate fully on “innovation and Recover’s technological leadership,” according to a statement.

The designated CEO comes from the Swedish clothing group Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M), where he is currently Global Managing Director of the H&M Lifestyle Brands division, responsible for the Home and Beauty categories, among other things.

Sjöblom has an “outstanding track record” of scaling global brands, Recover Chairman Olof Persson said in a statement. According to the company, his appointment is a further measure to prepare for the “next stage of growth”. Just a few weeks ago, the textile manufacturer expanded its management team by appointing Matthew Neville as Global Chief Commercial Officer.
