In 2022 there will be 17,592 new speedpedelecs in Belgium. That is a large number of 42.1 percent of 5,215 copies, in the act of opening a book for a year in a “record period for zones” for the Hogesnelheidsfiets, shows the Mobility Federation Traxio.

Uit de cijfers van Traxio blijkt wel dat speedpedelecs vooral een Vlaamse aangelegenheid zijn. Vlaanderen Telde in May 2022 delivered 95.15 percent of the New Speedpedelecs (16,739 units), Terwijl Brussel (360 units) and heel Wallonië (694 units) of the other 4.85 percent of the market in Vertegenwoordigden. Ook op de tweedehandsmarkt deed de snelle elektrofiets het goed. December was good for a maandrecord, met 337 new inschrijvingen of a toename van 34,3 per cent tegenover december 2021.
