The Bundesliga season is just over. But the clubs are already planning for the coming season. All important news in the transfer ticker.
This year’s transfer summer has it all. This is because the clubs are allowed to sign players for the first time in two different periods. Due to the club World Cup, the first transfer window for the participating clubs opens on June 1st and then closes again on June 10th. The regular transfer window then goes from July 1st to September 1st.
A farewell to Manchester City is increasingly indicated by the English international Jack Grialish. The 29-year-old is not in the squad of the “Citizens” for the final game of the season at FC Fulham. The midfielder’s contract is still running until 2027, but there has been speculation for a change for some time.
City coach Pep Guardiola did not repeat Grialish in the ending season, in the Premier League the professional was only on the square in 20 out of 38 games. Most recently, Geralish was no longer nominated for the English national team, new coach Thomas Tuchel did without the technically experienced player. The “Telegraph” now reports that discussions about the future of Geralishh at City are scheduled for the summer.
In 2021, Manchester had still transferred 117.5 million euros to Aston Villa for Geralish, thus made the offensive player a record transfer of the Premier League.
The change from Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen to FC Bayern is apparently imminent: According to agreed media reports, Jonathan Tah decided to move to Munich. Both “picture” and the “kicker” and Sky report that the central defender has given the club to the club.

Lukas Podolski has clarified his future – and has thus triggered cheering with the fans of Gornik Zabrze. On the sidelines of the last home game of the season against Korona Kielce, the 2014 world champion announced in front of a home backdrop that he would play another season for the traditional club.
“Gornik and this region are my home. I grew up here and I come here,” said Podolski. He announced that he wanted to end his career at Gornik – but not yet. It was a very difficult decision to stop at some point, but the time had not yet come.
“I will end my career here. It was a very difficult decision for me, but at some point you have to stop. Just not now.” Podolski changed from Antalyaspor in Turkey to Zabrze in the summer of 2021. His personal story began in the Polish city – he grew up there before starting a great career in Germany.
After a catastrophic second division season in 14th place, FC Schalke 04 is the first prominent departure. According to matching media reports, left -back Derry John Murkin moves to the Dutch Eredivisie for a transfer fee of 1.5 million euros. According to information from the “Sport Bild”, Sky and the “WAZ”, the 25-year-old will complete the medical check at FC Utrecht during Friday.
