Never in the nautical design had been seen a 165 meters boat capable of navigating even below sea level. A technological jewel of one and a half billion euros
Designing original Superyacht is becoming little … original. But, fortunately, there is still someone who is not lacking in fantasy: the new frontier is the one that the Austrian Christian Gumpold, CEO of Migaloo (Design study that takes its name from the very rare and gigantic white whale of the Australian seas) which presented a really out of the ordinary boat. It is no coincidence that the white color is dominant outside while it is also found in the interiors, where the golden leather of the furnishings is added the golden in various elements. The revolutionary idea is that The Superyacht can immerse yourself as a submarinethanks to the closure of each outdoor space and pressurization before facing the descent below sea level. There is one hybrid propulsion which allows Migaloo M5 to reach 20 knots (about 37 km/h) on the surface and 12 (22 km/h) in submarine mode.

On board this 165 meters long-long ship, 20 people will be able to stay for 40 crew members to the maximum. Before starting the descent under the surface of the sea, two side tanks fill with water to make the submarine more stable. On board Migaloo M5 there are many features of the luxury Superyachts: a heliportthe symmetrical pools On both sides of the hull, the cinemathe gym and the Beach Area With all Nautical Toys classes available. The highlight of Megaloo 5 is a staircase that brings passengers to the basement, where they can admire the underwater panorama from huge panoramic glass.
There is no shortage of doubts

Interviewed by the newspaper The TimesChristian Gumpold – CEO of Migaloo – explained the meaning of this project: “Our target is represented by the visionary billionaires, who already have a superyacht or not, with the request for exclusivity, security and extraordinary experiences. Since it is one Completely new development, such a project will require adequate financial resources and a lot of time for design and construction “. According to the other newspaper Daily Mailthe Austrian study has already received orders, even if he did not want to notice the names of the interested parties. However, it should be emphasized that almost ten years ago, Migaloo revealed a concept of floating private islands that could be moved everywhere in the world, but have yet to be made. In any case, the price of Migaloo 5 is around one and a half billion euros. However, it is included a tender silt of 17 meters to accompany the adventures of the mother ship.
