8,036 new-build homes were sold in the third quarter of 2021, according to figures from Statistics Netherlands (CBS). This is the largest number since the statistical office started keeping the figures seven years ago. The average price of a new-build house was 471,787 euros, no less than 12.4 percent higher than a year earlier.
