Recognized victims of abuse within the church each receive 3,000 euros for aftercare

Each recognized victim of sexual abuse within the church receives 3,000 euros in additional support. The support is financed by the dioceses and religious congregations. The total budget can amount to more than 2.5 million euros. This was reported by the Dignity Foundation after the meeting day with victims of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church.
