Reckitt chief financial officer retires

There is a change in the finance department at the British consumer goods group Reckitt Benckiser. Chief Financial Officer Jeff Carr will retire at the end of March 2024, the company announced in London on Wednesday. Nike executive Shannon Eisenhardt will join Reckitt on October 17 as CFO-designate to succeed Carr. She is currently responsible for finances for the Consumer, Brand & Marketplace segment at the US sporting goods manufacturer Nike.

Analyst James Edwardes Jones from the Canadian bank RBC described Carr’s resignation as a shame because the manager was very popular with investors. Nevertheless, he is looking forward to the new candidate Eisenhardt. (dpa)
