The presenter of the Bafta gala, actor Rebel Wilson, 42, rose to headlines worldwide by joking about the royal family.
However, he also had an issue with the Russian president, To Vladimir Putin.
“This is my gesture to Putin,” Wilson announced, raising his middle finger.
This happened in a situation where Wilson was introducing the next musical performance. In that context, Wilson also said that two sign language interpreters will be seen on stage.
His own “sign”, his international handwriting, left nothing to be interpreted.
