All military, political and revolutionary movements will also merge with the renewed state apparatus, reports the military branch of the rebel group.
Under leader Sharaa, a temporary legislative council will be formed that will remain until there is a new constitution, writes Sana. It is not yet clear how long this so -called ‘transition period’ will last. Sharaa previously stated that according to him it can take up to four years before there will be free elections in Syria.
