John de Bever and his husband Kees Stevens have a chance to win a Golden Televizier Ring. The so-called long list of candidates has been expanded with five new programs after a voting round, including reality program De Bevers on RTL 5.
The reality show of the former football players and his husband is a real hit. The duo is now filming the second season.
In addition to De Bevers, Dwars door de Lage Landen (VPRO), Een Huis Vol (KRO-NCRV), Louis & Rowan: Gooisch (discovery+) and Urk! (SBS6) nominated. Those programs received the most votes in the fourth and final qualifying round, Televizier announced on Wednesday.
In that round it was possible to vote for programs that were broadcast between 1 May and 1 August. A total of twenty programs have now been selected.

The editors of Televizier will later add five more titles. These programs receive a wildcard from the organization.
The polls will be open again from August 16. After that, it will be announced which programs have been officially nominated. The Gouden Televizier-Ring for the most popular program of the year will be awarded in October.
