Former Leipzig player Tyler Adams joins AFC Bournemouth with Leeds United after being relegated to the Premier League. The first division club announced on Sunday that the 24-year-old midfielder has signed a contract until 2028. According to reports, the transfer fee is the equivalent of 27 million euros and can continue to grow with bonuses.

Adams is leaving Leeds after just a year and 26 games in which he was exclusively a starting XI. The Whites had brought the US national player from Leipzig for 17 million euros and given him a contract until 2027. Adams is Bournemouth’s eighth and most expensive signing this summer. Expenditure rises to more than 127 million euros, which is surpassed by six clubs in a league comparison. Among other things, Man City has invested less so far. Bournemouth took just 1.5 million euros.
