Rapper Blueface arrested for attempted murder in Las Vegas

Rapper Blueface was arrested Tuesday (November 15) in Las Vegas on charges of attempted murder with a deadly weapon and taken to the Clark County Detention Center. The arrest warrant for the rapper was issued on October 8, the Las Vegas police said on Twitter. Johnathan Porter, Blueface’s real name, was honored in 2018 for his Style known to rap alongside the beat.

Porter is said to have been sitting outside Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles restaurant with his girlfriend Chrisean Rock before a plainclothes police officer arrested him. According to eyewitnesses, there were six to eight police officers in plain clothes, as “TMZ” reports. They also show a video of the arrest.

Las Vegas Police Department tweeted the following: “LVMPD detectives arrested 25-year-old Johnathan Porter for a shooting that occurred Oct. 8 near Sunset Rd. and S. Las Vegas Blvd. occurred,” and his warrant states, more specifically, “He is being held at the Clark County Detention Center on charges of attempted murder with a deadly weapon and firing a firearm at or into an occupied building.”
