Rapper and writer Akwasi will give the annual Anton de Kom lecture in the Verzetsmuseum Amsterdam on Tuesday evening. He will talk about “resistance, the current state of the Netherlands and why radical change is sometimes necessary,” according to an announcement. “In doing so, he looks back on what happened to him in the debate and he also looks to the future.”
