The Blaugrana enter action today in Le Havre against Ghana forming an offensive quintet with Neymar Jr., Vinicius Jr., Richarlison and Paquetá
Raphinha celebrates that Brazil openly goes on the attack because “in this way we can better show all our creativity”
Raphinha is taking Brazil’s friendly against Ghana today (20:30 CEST) at the Stade Océane in Le Havre, north-western France, very seriously. The Blaugrana winger will go out and give everything to maintain ownership with his team, when there are less than two months to go before the World Cup in Qatar.
Brazil will propose a purely offensive game, with a quintet that could put into practice in Qatar against ultra-defensive rivals.
Neymar Jr. it will be the ’10 with freedom of movement, behind it will have Lucas Paquetain the theoretical function of the double pivot, Raphinha will play on the right end, on the left will be Vinicius jr. and in front of ‘9’, Richarlison.
“As a striker, the more offensive the game scheme is, it is much better because you are closer to the goal”commemorates Raphinha. “Brazil has this offensive characteristic, but each one of us knows what our responsibility is in defense and what we have to do when we don’t have the ball”, Add.
Raphinha highlights that this Seleçao “is very creative” with a great scoring ability as he has shown throughout all the South American qualifiers, that Brazil have dominated with great authority.
The gaucho footballer is delighted with his start to the season in Barcelona and underlines the good moment he is going through. “I feel like I’m preparing a lot to get to the World Cup physically and mentally, either as a starter or as a reserve because I know that if Antony ends up playing he’ll do well too”he claimed.
Before returning to Barcelona, Raphinha will play a second friendly with the ‘verdeamarela’. It will be on Tuesday at the Parc des Princes, in Paris, against Tunisia.
