After their second place at the European Championship in England, the German soccer players have moved up to second place in the FIFA world rankings.
The USA continue to lead the way, having now won the Central and North American championships after their 2019 World Cup title and 2021 Olympic bronze medal.
Germany, which improved by three places, is followed by Sweden, European champions England, France and the Netherlands. Cambodia, Turkmenistan, East Timor and Guinea-Bissau have been added to the world rankings. This means that 185 FIFA member associations are now represented, more than ever before.
