The time for solo projects is over. Rammstein’s new single will be released tomorrow Thursday at 5 p.m. sharp. This is reported unanimously by various fan sites such as the “RammWiki”. The title of the song, which also heralds the Berlin band’s long-completed new album: “Zeit”.

A countdown has also been ticking on the official Rammstein website for a short time. One click further shows a short teaser video in ninja monk optics. There are no tones for this yet. One enjoys the well-orchestrated tension.

A recent black-and-white photo is also circulating, showing the band descending the outside stairs at the so-called “Trudelturm”; an industrial monument made of gray concrete on the aviation research site in Berlin-Adlershof. In front of the Kesselhaus in the Prenzlauer Berg district, promotional helpers also distributed simple red flyers showing the “Zeit” logo in the form of a lance. In 1994, Rammstein’s first official live performance took place here on the premises of the Kulturbrauerei. As part of the Berlin band presentation Metrobeat.

This marks the start of the long-awaited release offensive, which will seamlessly merge into a major stadium tour that begins on May 15, 2022 at the Prague Legaty airfield.

A current statement on the war in Ukraine can also be found on the Rammstein website. It appeals to a universal humanism: “Each member of the band has different experiences with the two countries; all musicians have friends, colleagues, partners and fans in Ukraine and Russia. We recognize the desperation that many Russian fans feel at the actions of their government and we want to remember the humanity that Russian and Ukrainian citizens share.”
