Rammstein recently released the music video for their new single “Zeit”. Now the band also shared the first “Behind the Scenes” pictures on Instagram. The single was also physically released one day after the video premiere and immediately reached number 1 in the German single charts.

The pictures capture some impressions from the shooting of the music video. In addition to two individual portraits of frontman Till Lindemann, there are also two pictures of the entire band. In one picture they are blindfolded and in white robes sitting in the sand, in another they are standing in a wheat field. Here you can see the pictures:

Under the photo, fans write that they are looking forward to the “making of” the video shoot. So far, however, the band has not announced a “making of”. A fan also writes that she’s excited to learn more about the CGI used in the video.

The video was produced by the film production company Kreisfilm, which has since clarified on its own Instagram channel that no CGI was used in the music video shoot. In addition, Kreisfilm posted a picture from the shoot with bassist Oliver Riedel, who is blindfolded under the sand. They wrote: “By the way, nothing is digitally altered in this picture. No CGI or compositing. Only Olli and lots of sand. (And no stunt crew) They took it like the champions. Cheers”.

The video was directed by Robert Gwisdek, who also performs as a musician himself with the band Käptn Peng & Die Tentacle von Delphi. Here’s the music video again:

“Zeit” is the first single from Rammstein’s new album of the same name, which is due out on April 29 and will contain 11 new tracks. Zeit is the band’s eighth studio album, following their untitled seventh album released in 2019.
