Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann has been accused of sexual misconduct again. The planned concerts in Groningen’s Stadspark will continue.
This is what festival organizer Greenhouse Talent says in a written response. ,,The two shows in Groningen will continue as planned. We cannot take any further position on the allegations made.”
The shows on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 July in the Stadspark have been sold out for several months. Till Lindemann will be performing in a sold-out Ahoy Rotterdam later this year with his solo project.
After a concert in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius, a Northern Irish woman accused Lindemann of drugging her. The band denies that and a drug test carried out by the Lithuanian authorities was negative.
The band condemns “any form of violence,” Rammstein wrote in a response. The band also asks not to condemn the people who made the allegations. “They are entitled to their opinion. But we, the band, also have a right – not to be judged as well.”
