Rammstein allegedly flashed off at the festival with a request for young women

How long has Rammstein’s after-show party system, which has been claimed by numerous parties, been around, if it exists? A report from Canada now hints at a case from 2010 in which representatives of the band allegedly asked for support for their gig at the Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ), “young women” (specifically, “jeunes filles” is the speech) for the party after their concert.

However, the alleged request of Rammstein probably came to nothing. “They asked for it and got a refusal,” Daniel Gélinas, who was managing director of the FEQ at the time, told the newspaper “Le Journal de Quebec”.

Samantha McKinley, the festival’s current vice president of communications, further confirmed that the band wanted the promoters to “facilitate contact with audiences.” This request was rejected by both the reception staff and production management.

Report: Rammstein representatives also independently searched for women

Gélinas also stated that during the gig, the Rammstein team allegedly showed up on other parts of the premises near the stage “to see if there were any girls”. The employees were outraged because they had never experienced such behavior before. At the same time they would have turned away the representatives of the group.

The fact is, neither in 2010 nor in 2016, when Rammstein performed again in Québec, did anyone come forward with an allegation against the band. According to the organizers, there were no incidents at other concerts in Canada, in this case in Montreal.

Rammstein and especially her singer Till Lindemann has been accused for days of having developed a system to attract women to after-show parties, where there would have been sexual activity with the singer. In some cases, there is also talk of knockout drops, which were allegedly used to stun the guests. Lindemann is also accused of sexual abuse.

So far there are no investigations against the musician. In a statement, the band expressed concern about the allegations and rejected them. Lindemann let his lawyers say that the allegations were all untrue and that he would take legal action against people who continued to allege them. Some of the women who reported on their experiences at after-show parties and alleged encounters with Lindemann in a dark room under the stage remained anonymous. In the meantime, Rammstein also reacted to the allegations in their own way at their Munich concerts.
