Rainbow colors removed from logo? Maurits Vande Reyde accuses Groen of “appeasing Muslim voters”, chairman calls attack “disgusting”

The new Groen chairman Aimen Horch has removed the rainbow colors from the Groen logo “to appease Muslim voters”. That strong claim by independent MP Maurits Vande Reyde met with indignant reactions from Groen in the Flemish Parliament. In a response, Horch calls Vande Reyde’s attack “racist and disgusting”. According to Horch, the party’s logo has not changed either. A different profile photo is now only used on social media, but according to Horch, that change was already decided before he took office as chairman.
