A fire broke out in a house on the Industriestraat in Roosendaal. According to the fire service, it is a blazing fire. People and businesses in the area may be affected by the smoke. The fire quickly spread through the roof to three adjacent homes. The fire brigade tries to prevent a fourth house from being hit.
According to the Central and West Brabant Security Region, the homes are most likely not inhabited. There is currently no indication that anyone was present when the fire started. It is likely to be demolished houses.
Due to the strong smoke development, it is advised to close windows and doors and switch off the ventilation.
The cause of the house fire is not yet known. The first report came in around a quarter to nine.
