Joe Hisaishi, the soundtrack maker of Studio Ghibli and Co., is releasing a debut album. We’re giving away three copies of it on vinyl.

Joe Hisaishi, the Japanese composer of Studio Ghibli’s animated films, and director Hayao Miyazaki, will release his debut album A SYMPHONIC CELEBRATION on June 30th. The disc features symphonic arrangements of his original anime film soundtracks. Including classics like “Spirited Away”, “Princess Mononoke” and “My Neighbor Totoro”.

After the first three single releases (a remake of the streaming hit “Merry-Go-Round of Life” from the Studio Ghibli production “Howl’s Moving Castle”, a remake of “Mother’s Broom” from “Kiki’s Delivery Service” and ” A Town With An Ocean View) follows “Ashitaka and San” from “Princess Mononoke”.
