Queen Elizabeth Outfit

The queen glows in a cheerful floral dress as she moves around with her cane. She is visibly enjoying the hand-painted teapots and other trinkets brought to Windsor Castle especially for her.

The photos paint a much more positive picture than the reports about the frail princess who has to use a wheelchair because of age-related complaints.

Light tasks only

The queen would Halcyon Daysfactory in Staffordshire as early as 2020 to mark its own 70th platinum anniversary, but plans were changed when corona struck. Much has changed since the outbreak of Covid-19: Elizabeth now uses a cane, has mobility issues and has recently been doing mostly light duties in Windsor.

Military operation

Last week, the Queen was unable to attend the Commonwealth Day service because she was not fit enough. She hopes to be at the memorial of her husband Prince Philip, who died last year, on April 9. An entire military operation would be prepared for this, because she would rather not be seen in a wheelchair, according to sources around the royal family.

The insiders report that the helicopter ride from Windsor Castle to Buckingham Palace takes just 15 minutes, and the staff can then drive the queen the short distance from the palace to the abbey. That route would also be closed to prevent anyone from seeing anything.
