Rachel Hazes has absolutely nothing to do with the London drama of her son André Hazes Jr. and daughter-in-law Monique Westenberg, says Guido den Aantrekker. “Nothing!”

It is perhaps the worst day of bad luck that André Hazes Jr. and Monique Westenberg have ever had: everything, absolutely everything, went wrong on their travel day to London on Saturday. Their first flight was cancelled, their second flight was delayed, their suitcases were lost, Mo’s phone was stolen and they were also scammed into a pedicab.

Rachel voodoo?

It was a real drama and angry tongues suggested that his devilish mother Rachel Hazes must have gone wild on a voodoo doll in Torremolinos. But is that correct?

According to her PR man Guido den Aantrekker, Rachel has nothing to do with this. “I understand from a very good source that Rachel had nothing to do with all this misery,” he says Show news.

Colleague Bart Ettekoven: “Yes, you always say that about Rachel. You are from the Rachel fan club!”

And Tooske Ragas: “We’ll have to figure that out!”

Card holder

Anouk Smulders fears that André will also be robbed if he does not stop making all those Insta videos on the street. “All I get is an image of him walking around with a card holder around his neck on the next trip with a phone cord, because he’s been filming all day.”

Bart: “Exactly what you say. This is really a tragedy in England. A phone is stolen every six minutes. It will be snatched right out of your hands as you walk down the street.”

Tooske: “Oh, I’m going at the end of January, oh.”

To watch out

André better keep his phone in his pocket in London, says Bart. “He really has to be careful with that. Monique is kind of rolled, it was stolen from her pocket, but André walks around like that all day long and those are the moments when they cycle by or come with a scooter and snatch it right out of your hands.”

Fortunately, André has enough resources not to worry about this. “They sleep quite expensively. An editor of ours had looked and if they also stay there on New Year’s Eve — which I don’t think, because I expect them to be back before then — then they pay 1,200 euros per night in that hotel.”

Underpants

Because of the late suitcases, André had to walk around in the same underpants for two days, he complained. Guido: “He can just turn his underpants around once. That is quite possible.”

Tooske: “I was just going to say. If you can buy a new phone, you can also buy a pair of underwear…”
