Queen Silvia surprised the studio audience and Swedish drag artist Christer Lindarw by entering TV4 Vilket Liv program descriptions. Silvia and Lindarwia are united by a common memory for years.
In 1977, Silvia sat in the audience when Lindarw arrived as a queen on the same Oscarssteatern stage. At that time, Lindarw was wearing a golden dress for young Silvia a rose.
Since then, Lindarw has performed Silvia on the drag blades several times.
Now Silvia repeated the gesture made by Lindarw almost 50 years ago. So he arrived on the stage of the Vilket Liv program and handed the Drag artist a rose.
Lindarw was obviously stunned by the situation.
“So this is what kind of honor … I can’t stand,” Lindarw said.
Silvia grabbed the microphone on the stage.
– You have imitated me very many times. I know it, Silvia said, making the audience laugh.
Silvia said she wanted to thank Lindarw for her kindness and how she makes everyone laugh.
– Not only about me and the king, but the whole of Sweden, of course.
Silvia said she wanted to give Lindarw a rose about everything she has done.
– From one queen to another queen, Silvia said.
