Queen Máxima size the tongues loose with her appearance at the Ladies of Soul. She was at the song festival last weekend and did Backstage fun with the singers. “Bare.”
It was a big surprise: the video on Instagram on which we see Queen Máxima singing and dancing with the music group Sister Sledge and the Ladies of Soul. They all sing the song We Are Family. What does she wear? Not exactly something royal. She has a glitter skirt and a modest tip and wears large gold earrings.
Bare sweater
Presenter Dyantha Brooks has to get used to this image. “How nice is this? This is of course unique, because that’s how you see Máxima … anyway with such a fairly bare sweater, I thought it was rather,” she says in Shownieuws.
For a queen you see her bare shoulders very much, Dyantha said. “And singing, just participating. This is a dream for the Ladies of Soul. They of course do it for the first time without Glennis Grace, so then you hope it will be a success and then you just have Máxima that is singing with it.”

Máxima’s video is shown in every medium, while private images of her are actually not allowed. “Yes, but if you are posing like Máxima and so spontaneously, then we all assume that there is a crash in The Hague and that these are very nice images that everyone wants to see,” says Evert Santegoeds.
