Quarter less healthcare staff in commercial than in public residential care centers: “Care does not belong in a profit model”

Commercial residential care centers put a quarter less care staff in public residential care centers. This is according to figures that Flemish MP Lise Vandecasteele (PvdA) requested from the Flemish Minister for Welfare Caroline Gennez (Vooruit). This also shows that the difference in staff deployment between commercial and public residential care centers is growing further.
