Belgian MEP Marc Tarabella appeared before the Brussels council chamber on Thursday in the investigation into corruption in the European Parliament. He has extended his pre-trial detention by one month, the federal prosecutor’s office reports. Tarabella was placed under arrest in the investigation on February 11, but has consistently maintained his innocence.
