PVH appoints Sophia Hwang-Judiesch as North American head of Tommy Hilfiger

The US clothing group PVH Corporation has filled a key position at its Tommy Hilfiger brand.

On Wednesday, the company announced the appointment of Sophia Hwang-Judiesch as President of Tommy Hilfiger North America. She will take up her post on January 8th next year and will report directly to PVH CEO Stefan Larsson, according to a statement.

Hwang-Judiesch comes from the Canadian retailer Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC), where she was President of the stationary retail department of the Hudson’s Bay department store chain in Canada since mid-September 2022. She previously held various management positions at cosmetics retailer Ulta Beauty and at clothing companies Oshkosh and Esprit.

Amba Subrahmanyam is promoted to Chief People Officer

At the same time, PVH announced the promotion of Amba Subrahmanyam to Chief People Officer. She will take over the position on February 5th next year from Julie Fuller, who is leaving the company to pursue new tasks.

Subrahmanyam joined the company in February 2022 and previously served as Executive Vice President of People for PVH Americas and Calvin Klein Global. Before joining PVH, she held various management positions in the human resources departments of well-known fashion companies such as Tapestry, Tory Burch and Coach.
