Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping meet in Uzbekistan. It will be their first face-to-face meeting since Russia invaded Ukraine in February. The Kremlin says the two world leaders will discuss Ukraine, Taiwan and cooperation between their countries during their “long-awaited face-to-face meeting”.
