The sports goods manufacturer Puma in Herzogenaurach and the Brazilian Athletics Association (CBAt) have signed a multi-year contract.
The contract will come into effect in July, Puma announced on Friday. The athletes will be wearing Puma sportswear for the first time at the World Athletics Championships in the US state this summer. This will support 24 adult and youth teams.
“We are very proud of the partnership with the Brazilian Athletics Federation as it is the first time Puma has sponsored a Brazilian national sports team and it is a milestone,” said Fabio Kadow, Marketing Director Puma Brazil World-class athletics with 19 Olympic medals makes this partnership a perfect match for Puma.”
Puma has been outfitting the Jamaican Athletics Association since 2002. Other national associations are Cuba, Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Dominican Republic, Norway, Switzerland, Portugal and South Africa.
