Previously, Pulp also played a previously unreleased song: “Hymn of the North” at a gig in Sheffield, England. This is a song that Cocker wrote for the play “Light Falls”. The drama “Light Falls” was written by Manchester author Stephen Simons and is about various people who live in the north of England. Cocker’s musical contribution to this was created in 2019, but in a slightly different form.

At the Sheffield gig, Cocker announced “Hymn Of The North” with the words: “We’re in the North here, so we thought you should hear it first, okay?” Pulp also had another surprise in store for this show: the former Member Richard Hawley came on stage to play live with his old colleagues.
