Different Class is released in an extended anniversary edition with Glastonbury concert from 1995
Different Class from Pulp will soon be released in an extended new edition. The record, which was first published in 1995, is available from October 24, 2025 in the newly set version under the title Different Class – 30th Anniversary Edition. It is published by Universal Music Recordings and Island Records.

Different Class from Pulp with improved sound in the Anniversary Edition
Jarvis Cocker says about the 45-U/min double album version of Different Class that she will come with significantly improved sound. In concrete terms, according to the press release from the head of the band to the LP: “We were obsessed with the fact that this was our ‘pop’ album-we had finally achieved some ‘popularity’ when ‘Common People’ became a hit-and as everyone knows, all pop albums contain twelve songs: six titles per side. Content of the deluxe set: vinyl, booklet and exclusive pulp photos for different classes
The deluxe 4-LP set is published in a slipcase. There is a 28-page booklet and a new essay based on current interviews with the band members. There are previously unpublished pictures of photographers Rankin and Donald Milne (who also took the photos for the original publication) and also pictures from the band’s archive.

New pulp album more was released in June 2025
It was not until June 2025 that Pulp with more published her eighth studio album. Produced by James Ford, it has been the first work of the group for 24 years – the successor to We Love Life and her first album since freaks without the bass guitarist Steve Macke, who died in 2023.
Pulp was founded in 1978 when 15-year-old Jarvis Cocker still went to school. Between 1983 and 1992 they released three albums. They first achieved popularity with his ‘n’ Hers in 1994. The follow -up album Different Class, published on October 30, 1995, then introduced Pulp international recognition and debut in first place on the British album charts. It won the Mercury Music Prize in 1996.
