The province of Groningen must recover the stalled doubling of the N33 motorway to Eemshaven with the profits from land sales for the intended expansion of the port area.
The Eelwerder Bridge over the Eems Canal near Appingedam regularly has malfunctions and is a bottleneck in the N33.
