The final amount of 6,072 euros proves that it was indeed going fast. “This is the amount that came together thanks to all the beautiful donations,” Melanie tells when she reveals Beatrix how high the amount has become. “A lot of unknown people have really deposited money throughout the country.”
The Bahamas
“Wow” is first the only thing Beatrix can release when she sees the amount. Then: “Well, I’m going to the Bahamas now if you don’t mind.” Just joke, because the money will go to a new Canta or mobility scooter. “I’m going to help her too, so that it will work in the right way with the purchase of a new mobility scooter. So we will certainly spend it well,” says Melanie.
In addition to Melanie, Beatrix also wants to thank all other people who have brought together the amount of more than six thousand euros. She does that by making a kiss movement to the camera: “For all the people who participated in this. Thanks from all my heart.”
