Public prosecutor opens 35 investigations into unknown drones, more than 6 times more minors in terror files

Last year, the federal prosecutor’s office opened 35 investigations into drone incidents above airports and military bases. The use of drones as an instrument of hybrid threat is new for our country, the federal public prosecutor’s office writes in its annual report that our terror specialist Faroek Özgünes was able to view. That is why a special federal ‘drone magistrate’ has been appointed to coordinate these criminal investigations. These five remarkable findings are also included in the report.
