The public prosecutor has decided to summon a total of seven people for the violence in the Jumbo on Westerstraat on February 12. Glennis Grace is on trial with four other adult suspects. The two minors must appear in juvenile court on October 27, 2022. In addition to Glennis Grace, it concerns two 20-year-old men and two 15-year-old boys from Amsterdam, a 27-year-old man from Purmerend and a 50-year-old man from Loenen aan de Vecht.
Glennis Grace was arrested in early February for involvement in an incident in a supermarket in Amsterdam. Several employees of the Jumbo supermarket on Westerstraat were threatened and mistreated that Saturday evening. At the time, an eyewitness told The Telegraph that it all got out of hand. “Employees were kicked and beaten and one of them even had a bloody nose,” said an eyewitness. The police arrested three people, including the singer and her 15-year-old son.
